: Job Details :

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our accounting team.The Accountant will take the lead on all Payroll related things including benefits and 401k in addition to processing accounts payable invoices. You will also be the backup to the financial controller for month-end close duties – roughly 1x per quarter. Additional duties would include occasionally account analysis, journal entries and account reconciliations as needed.Benefits would include health, dental, 401k w/ company matching, EAP, 3 weeks of PTO.Accountant Responsibilities:

• Process Payroll, manage benefits and perform 401k duties as necessary.
• Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
• Contributing to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
• Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury and conducting internal audits.
• Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
• Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Assisting the Financial Controller as needed.

Staff Accountant Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2 years of accounting experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Good problem-solving and time management skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
