Job Type Full-timeDescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYAct as a facilitator to accomplish objectives and goals for affluent bank customers. Services the clients' financial needs and markets bank services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Relationship Growth & Retention 50%
  • Proactively acquire new affluent consumer and small business customers, and deepen existing relationships, through outreach and scheduled appointments.
  • Proactively cross-sell additional products through referrals and outbound calling with the goal of building rapport and life-long relationships with Bank customers.
  • Develop, implement, and achieve individual and branch sales goals through new customer acquisition, referrals, and retention of account relationships.
  • Increase branch deposit and loan volume in accordance with branch growth metrics.
  • Connect and collaborate with peers both in and outside of assigned market to share best practices, competitive intelligence, & seek business development opportunities.
  • Build & maintain referral partners within the Bank.
  • Maintain a portfolio for private banking clients.
  • Track customer growth by entering new and closed account reports for incentive compensation programs daily.
Customer Experience 30%
  • Portray a positive company image and engage in professional and friendly communication with customers.
  • Clearly understands the key elements of customer service and actively work to exceed customer expectations in every interaction.
  • Resolve problems or discrepancies concerning customers' accounts and be able to assist customers with online banking, credit card services, and cash management issues.
  • Collect information directly from customers regarding income, assets, investments, and credit; analyze information to develop customized plan identifying Bank products and services that fit the customer's needs and goals.
  • Request and communicate with customers, accountants, and attorneys regarding questions on financials, business structure and other necessary documentation while focusing on confidentiality and maintaining integrity.
New Accounts & Lending 10%
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in the account opening process for all deposit, credit, and certificate accounts, including, but no limited to: checking, savings, money market, health savings accounts, individual retirement accounts, business accounts, overdraft, loans, and credit cards.
  • Analyze applicants' financial status and credit to determine feasibility of opening new accounts and loans.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of all credit products and the ability to explain to customers the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the terms on those services.
  • Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products to better meet customers' needs.
  • Coordinate the ordering of loan documents and assist in the documentation of loans to evidence debt, including perfection of security interests.
Community Involvement 10%
  • Represent the company in various community activities to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.
  • Actively seek & participate in community affairs to increase banks visibility and to enhance new and existing business opportunities.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
RequirementsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in similar job duties
