Job Description:
Experienced Chef needed for a private hunting lodge located on the historic King Ranch in South Texas (50 miles southwest of Corpus Christi). The group consists of 6 members who are all CEO's of businesses. The members, their families and guests use the lodge +/- 80 days between November 1st and March 1st. Most groups consist of 6-12 guests. Lunch and dinner served each day that members and guests are at the lodge. A wide range of culinary skills is a must. Ability to provision high quality food and prepare meals ranging from Classic Continental Cuisine, Wild Game, Class American Fare, Gulf Coast Seafood, Regional Mexican and Tex-Mex just to name a few. A wide range of salads, desserts, and breads as well. The position is seasonal in November – February. Roughly 80% of all meals are plated and served by way of formal dining. Large groups of 10+ are accustomed to buffet style. This position requires a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and some holidays.
