As a member of the Whitney Center team, you will help achieving this mission by stewarding relationships and fostering a positive working environment. In this role you are responsible for the care of residents in need of routine nursing services and activities of daily living. You will interact with residents, family members, co-workers, professionals and other visitors. It is important in this role that you adapt to changing demands courteously and professionally.As a Caregiver, you will: Assist the resident with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, oral hygiene, toileting, exercising. Assist the resident with ambulating or transfer activities, exercise and mobility, transports and escorts, as needed. Answer all resident requests. Assist licensed staff as needed with treatments, procedures, test collection etc. Report all resident changes to licensed staff including physical and cognitive changes. Document properly and accurately. Encourage independence within each resident's ability. Encourage residents to participate in activities and assist in programs daily including escorts to and from activities. Follow plan of care developed by RN for each individual resident. Keep resident areas clean, neat and orderly. Put our residents first and provide exceptional customer service. Provide companionship and social engagement for our residents. Assist residents with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.Qualifications:Must be a PCA, HHA or CNA with a minimum of one year experience as a caregiver working with older adults while offering a positive quality of life.Condition of Employment:Candidate must successfully complete Pre-Employment Medical Clearance consisting of a Physical, PPD, Drug Test.EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 13B:Requires all employees are to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, (ii) has received the two-dose series vaccination and the booster/third dose and/or has an appointment for the booster or third dose.
