LHH is seeking a skilled Private Equity Attorney for a fully remote contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in private equity transactions and a strong legal background.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex private equity transaction documents
- Provide legal advice and support throughout all stages of private equity investments, including due diligence, structuring, and closing.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to private equity transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to manage legal risks and resolve any legal issues that arise during transactions.
- Assist in the management of portfolio company legal matters, including governance, corporate aspects of acquisitions, dispositions and day to day operations.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in the state in which you reside.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in private equity or related practice at a law firm
- Proven track record of handling complex private equity transactions and related legal issues.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Pay Rate: $60-$80/hour dependent on experience
