Location: Kendal at LexingtonPosition: PRN CNASchedule: Must work a minimum of 2 shifts per monthPay Range: $20.00 - $22.15 per hour, based on experience* $2 Evening Shift Differential* $1 Night Shift DifferentialPosition Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in various settings as needed. This role requires flexibility and the ability to pick up a minimum of 2 shifts per month.Key Responsibilities:* Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.* Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.* Assist with mobility and transfers, including using appropriate assistive devices and techniques.* Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, including administering medication as directed.* Assist with feeding, including preparing and serving meals and ensuring patient comfort during mealtimes.* Observe and report any changes in patient condition or behavior to nursing staff.* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including tidying patient rooms and changing linens as needed.* Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, including infection control practices and confidentiality requirements.* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.* Attend mandatory training sessions and staff meetings as required.Qualifications:* High school diploma or equivalent.* Valid and current CNA certification in the Commonwealth of Virginia.* Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.Physical Requirements:* Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to [specific weight] pounds.* Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.* Capability to assist with patient mobility and transfers.Working Conditions:* Work is performed in a healthcare facility environment.* May involve exposure to infectious diseases, hazardous materials, and potentially stressful situations.* Requires adherence to all safety and health regulations.How to Apply: To apply, please send your resume detailing your experience to ...@kalex.kendal.org or ...@kalex.kendal.org, or apply directly on our website at www.kalex.kendal.org/about/careers.Kendal at Lexington is an equal opportunity employer.
