Responsible for day to day scheduling, monitoring of work flow in a patient registration, processing payments and billing accounts as well as oversight of patient record releases. Employee must have proficient use of and accurate data entry and ability to abstract data from Practice Fusion and acts as a resource for employees in the use of the Practice Fusion.2. Reviews work for accuracy3. Collaborates with other staff to assure medical record and scheduling is accurate4. Collects and post payments accurately and balances at the end of the shift5. Releases medical records and Protected Health Information per protocols and adheres to HIPAA6. Communicates with patients and clinic staff to ensure proper paperwork is available for the office visit.7. Monitors use of hospital resources. Assists with ensuring supplies are available.8. Ensures excellence of service in all clinics where employee is assigned to work9.
