For more information, visit Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Pro Shop Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for firearms and excellent customer service skills. Candidates are required to have a Certificate of Eligibility (COE). RequirementsDuties & Responsibilities -•Greet and assist members in selecting firearms, ammunition, and related accessories.•Provide knowledgeable advice and information on products to ensure members make informed purchasing decisions.•Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective product recommendations and upselling.•Assist the Retail Sales Manager with sales activities, including processing transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system. •Maintain a clean and organized sales floor to enhance the shopping experience.•Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise.•Conduct regular inventory counts and report any discrepancies to management.•Ensure all firearms and ammunition are stored and displayed securely and in compliance with legal regulations.•All employees are expected to assist in cross-department duties as needed.Compliance:•Ensure all sales and transfers of firearms are conducted in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.•Verify and process background checks and necessary paperwork for firearm purchases.•Stay updated on all relevant laws and regulations regarding firearm sales and ownership.Product Knowledge:•Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products, including firearms, ammunition, and accessories.•Stay informed about new products, trends, and advancements in the firearms industry.•Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.Qualifications:•High school diploma or equivalent.•Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in a firearms or outdoor sporting goods environment.•Strong knowledge of firearms, ammunition, and related accessories.•Certificate of Eligibility (COE) is required.•Federal Firearms License (FFL) is highly preferred.•Excellent customer service and communication skills.•Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.•Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.•Ability to pass a background check and meet all legal requirements for firearm sales.Benefits:•Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.•Employee discounts on merchandise.•Health, dental, and vision insurance.•Paid time off and holiday pay.•Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.Wing & Barrel Ranch is an equal opportunity employer.
