Eurofins PSS works with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic, and labeling is accurate.Why Eurofins?A focus on your professional development because your growth is our growthA chance to step into the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry and move up the ladder of success to help you achieve your career goalsHealthy work/life balance, an essential need for employee satisfactionExcellent benefits such as tuition reimbursement, mentoring and leadership programs, 401k, medical/vision/dental insurance, PTO, and much more!Opportunity for involvement in several innovative committees surrounding sustainability, equality, development, and much more!Responsibilities:Conduct laboratory-scale cell culture studies (shake flask through fed-batch bioreactor and harvest) to support characterization of cell banks and/or manufacturing bioprocessesPerform affinity chromatography and viral inactivation in support of lab-scale cell culture activitiesPerform cGLP cell banking activities for research useCoordinate with a broader scientific team to align on scheduling of lab activitiesStatistically analyze large data sets and draft technical reports to support commercial filingsPresent on technical topics during cross-functional meetingsProvide technical support to Manufacturing during troubleshooting and continuous improvement opportunitiesEnjoy working in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects, prioritize them and execute independently, while keeping all impacted parties well advisedTake on new and sometimes ambiguous challenges, learning quicklyWork in a team environment but also take ownership of large technical reports and projectsDevelop and drive scientific and/or business-related improvement ideasUnderstand antibody manufacturing processesHave a solid understanding of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Leadership Responsibilities:Support and monitor a team of analystsSupport the onboarding process of new employeesParticipate in training of other employeesPerform peer review of dataAssist in coordinating equipment maintenance and calibrationParticipate in the overtime and weekend schedule as requiredMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related fieldRelevant lab experience: cell culture, cell banking, GMP, aseptic techniquePrevious leadership experienceHigh level of communication and organizationAbility to be flexible while maintaining client-centric focusAuthorization to work in the United StatesPosition is full-time, the role is 1st Shift Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY are encouraged to apply.
