These roles resolve plant issues, drive improvements, and share knowledge to strengthen the performance of the team.Process Controls Engineer Essential Functions:* Develop, update, and simulate code improvements for the DCS that have been identified by process knowledgeable personnel.* Ensure control loops are adequately tuned, and process parameters are controlled to allow consistent operating conditions, product quality, etc.* Coordinate with MES application-related efforts with the team and application users in mind and assist in the identification and development of Most Effective Technologies (MET).* Assist with FEL-2 and FEL-3 estimates and engineering by providing plant level knowledge and insight, or work with the plant to generate the information required.* Work independently as a system owner, providing care and troubleshooting of process automation systems and their associated networks and interfaces.* Identify and manage Preventative Maintenance tasks and health checks for the systems that you support and provide corrective support in response to a system error condition or failure as the first point of escalation from the plant.Process Controls Engineer Position Requirements:* Bachelor's Degree* in Engineering; Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical discipline preferred.* 5+ years of experience with chemical manufacturing processes.* Experience with Yokogawa, Aspen Tech, Primavera P6, Smart Plant preferred.* Demonstrated ability to problem solve and work in a team environment.* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.* Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and must possess a valid US driver's license.Strong Careers Grow HereRooted in our corporate values, Olin continues to be the global leader in both chemical manufacturing and ammunition.
