Job Description:

QBS is looking for a detail oriented and meticulous Process Document Specialist to create, modify, revise and maintain new processes in the company throughout all divisions. The candidate must be able to work and effectively communicate with all tiers of management. Process Document Specialists are essential in ensuring that QBS runs efficiently and smoothly in compliance with regulations and standards, as they make sure all processes are up-to-date and optimized for success. They will act as a single point of contact for any specific process-related questions or issues.

Overview

General Duties/Requirements

  • Document and manage procedures.
  • Responsible for making sure procedures and processes align with the company's goals and objectives, leading to improved efficiency.
  • Ensure team members are following processes in place diligently.
  • Set objectives and goals that need to be derived from the processes.
  • keep track of the process's progress. Monitor the performance of all involved, document any issues and successes, and provide feedback to all members of the team.
  • Responsible for auditing and reviewing processes to make sure they are still relevant and effective.
  • Write site specific post orders to assist QPS Operations and keep all post orders up to date.

Professional Summary

Strong PC literacy with advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Availability

QBS maintains operations 24/7/365 and is an essential business in the New York area. We work during normal times and when other businesses are closed. The position requires flexibility and an ability to work whatever schedule and hours are deemed necessary to efficiently accomplish the work and service our clients, which may include working extended hours, weekends, holidays, and/or during emergency situations, such as natural disasters (storms, including but not limited to rain, wind, snow and ice, floods, power outages, fires, earthquakes, etc.), public health emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic, government-declared states of emergency, labor strikes, and force majeure events. Accessibility to answer questions by email or phone during off hours in accordance with QPS policies, and an ability to respond in person to emergencies and stay in New York City as appropriate, is expected. The ability to work this schedule is an essential function of the job.
