Our client, a leader in sustainable, high-performance packaging, is seeking a Process Engineer – Blow Mold to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Process Engineer – Blow Mold

Location: Cedar City, Utah

Pay Range: Starting at $80,000

What's the Job?

  • Actively support and participate in the plant's safety program, conducting safety meetings and job safety analyses.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to plant operations to ensure safety, productivity, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Continuously monitor and improve cycle times and process parameters, ensuring adherence to standard protocols.
  • Train machine attendants on all aspects of blow molding and provide technical support for new products.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for molding machines and assist in new product specifications and testing.

What's Needed?

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Polymer Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of working knowledge of blow molding and plastic technology.
  • Detailed knowledge of plastic mold and part design, with experience in SolidWorks or comparable 3D modeling software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and statistical data analysis.
