The Process Engineer will work across the organization and be responsible for analyzing and implementing improvements to current practices, improving the effectiveness of Overall Equipment Effectiveness systems, developing, communicating, and implementing performance metrics and employee communication platforms across the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety through leadership, work procedures and employee safety programs
- Foster a collaborative working environment across all functions of the organization
- Train, mentor and guide team members in new processes
- Analyze company processes and procedures to identify trends and process variations
- Lead and facilitate LEAN / process improvement-based workshops to drive ideas and solutions
- Develop and lead raw and pack yield validation and improvement programs
- Take ownership of change initiatives from evolution / efficiency identification through to project delivery
- Complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects
- Maintain, develop and implement internal employee communication platforms
- Work closely with plant operations to ensure reporting and communication are effective and adjust as needed

Qualifications
- BS/BA in Industrial Engineering or food processing field or equivalent work experience
- Three years' experience in process optimization, operations, or business management
- Experience and understanding in 6 Sigma, 5S, Lean, OEE, GE systems
- OEE system experience, RedZone preferred
- ERP system experience preferred
- Creativity in developing new ways of working / methodology
- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, Tableau experience preferred
