Process Engineer - Food Manufacturing Operations

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team and enhance our food manufacturing operations. In this role, you will leverage and grow your dairy processing expertise to identify and implement cost-saving projects through manufacturing network optimization, material yield improvements, and quality enhancement. You will be responsible for driving process improvements, ensuring operational efficiency, and working closely with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes to improve efficiency, sustainability, and profitability.
  • Analyze workflow, equipment layout, and material flow to reduce production bottlenecks and improve throughput.
  • Lead initiatives focused on network optimization, material yield improvements, and cost reduction in dairy processing.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure smooth integration of new products into manufacturing.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure all processes comply with food safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor production performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and waste.
  • Lead process validation and optimization projects to enhance product consistency and yield.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff to improve operational capabilities.
  • Stay current with industry advancements and integrate cutting-edge technology into processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Food Engineering (or related field).
  • Aseptic experience needed
  • 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing, with expertise in dairy processing.
  • Strong knowledge of process optimization, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
  • Proven experience in identifying and implementing cost-saving projects.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
