My client is a plastic industry leader with several locations around the globe. and is looking to add a Process Engineer to their team. This person has overall accountability for managing the site process and productivity details to optimize efficiency and product cost, quality, capacity utilization, and operability of production processes. This position is also accountable for CAPEX projects.

Essential Job Duties
- Serves as the process expert for all manufacturing processes on-site and leads in the troubleshooting of technology, and quality-related issues, interfacing with corporate teams as necessary.
- Identifying, initiating, and leading projects to improve process safety, quality, service, cost, capacity, and productivity through engineering and continuous improvement methods.
- Works with various functions to identify and transfer processes/products into the site to balance capacity utilization.
- Directs activities so that approved products and projects are introduced on time working with internal maintenance teams and outside contractor partners as required.
- Ensures new production processes are implemented in compliance with EHS regulations, cost control, waste reduction and quality standards.
- Troubleshooting defects and variation, performing root cause analysis, applying systematic problem-solving techniques, and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Engaging in daily operations to resolve equipment downtime issues, assure quality and productivity, and meet service targets.
