We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating specific process development activities supporting Company product development efforts. Create the trial plan to develop the processes necessary to manufacture the required products within targeted cost and performance requirements. Manage several different process/product development projects and be responsible for trials run in the plant.Key Responsibilities:
- Design the processing parameters necessary to manufacture products as specified by Technical, Quality Engineering and Production Management.
- Using trials and other appropriate analytical tools, standardize the processes necessary to manufacture products within targeted cost and performance requirements.
- Plan, monitor and report on all trial activities and new product development projects.
- Periodically revise and maintain all raw materials, manufacturing, and finished goods specifications.
- Foster an attitude of continuous improvement throughout the facility.
- Actively lead or participate in various small group activities.
- Ensure departmental compliance with all environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Plastics or Chemical Engineering.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, and Word, Access, PowerPoint).
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for optimum planning and thorough reporting of activities.
- Basic concept of PID controls, and programming of OPTO22 and Rockwell software.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
