The Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and refining manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency, quality, and safety. They evaluate production methods, identify opportunities for improvement, and create solutions to boost productivity, reduce costs, and minimize waste, all while aligning with organizational objectives and industry standards.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, preferably; chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
- Prefer prior experience in manufacturing or a machine shop environment
- Proficiency in engineering principles, process design, and manufacturing methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop effective solutions to improve manufacturing processes.
- Requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in process documentation, data analysis, and implementation of process changes.
- Basic project management skills to plan, organize, and execute process improvement projects, including setting goals, defining milestones, and managing resources effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and other stakeholders to implement process changes and drive continuous improvement.
