Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Senior Process Engineer to lead the optimization of our plastics processing manufacturing, with a focus on twin-screw compounding. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams in product development, process improvement, and manufacturing operations. Key Accountabilities Process Optimization: Troubleshoot and enhance equipment and manufacturing systems to improve production efficiency, safety, and performance. Product Development Support: Partner with the Product Development team to design, scale, and implement manufacturing processes tailored to Tundra's unique products. Process Improvement: Identify and propose strategies to increase throughput, yield, and utilization while reducing waste. Training & Documentation: Create and maintain training materials and programs to ensure best practices are followed in all operational areas. Continuous Learning: Stay informed on industry trends and advancements through research, training, and hands-on experimentation. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Science, or related field). Experience: 8-10 years of experience in engineering and manufacturing, with a strong preference for experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Minitab and 3D modeling software (SolidWorks). Strong PC skills and the ability to quickly learn new software tools. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams including engineering, operations, sales, and finance. Work Ethic: Proactive, adaptable, and willing to work in a team setting. Travel: 5-15% travel required.
