Use analytic tools and traditional industrial engineering methods to optimize production functions.Key Accountabilities* Use M.O.S.T. to develop balanced processes across AF manufacturing areas. Work to achieve Maximum Process Efficiency. Apply Lean Manufacturing techniques. Design processes that are simple and achieve SQCDM targets.* Business Plan: Support Business Plan themes as assigned each year by department or plant leadership; create and execute plans to achieve Business Plan theme goals; provide quarterly progress updates to management.* Regularly lead meetings with other Honda functional groups to develop and launch improvement themes (Quality, Safety, Delivery, Production, Purchasing, Packaging, or Logistics).* Perform time estimates for process/line work, equipment loads, and develop operation standards for the AF Department during development* Identify opportunities to reduce waste within the process and improve efficiency.
