Job Description:
Summary Responsible for improving the efficiency, quality, and reliability of solar cell manufacturing process. Designing, testing, and implementing new processes and equipment. Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve process issues. Responsibilities Develop troubleshoot and optimize solar cell manufacturing processes Design and execute experiments to evaluate new materials, methods, and equipment for solar cell fabrication. Monitor line performance, analyze process data, and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation Implement process control plans and monitor key performance indicators Provide technical support and guidance to production teams and resolve process issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as R&D, quality, engineering, and supply chain, to ensure alignment of process goals and requirements Prepare and maintain process documentation, such as standard operating procedures, work instructions, and reports Provide training as required to line personnel Work with fully automated machine and various vision systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field Minimum 3 years of mechanical engineering experience in process/manufacturing environments including automation and vision systems Experience with advanced statistics, statistical process control and design of experiments methods Experience in high throughput manufacturing Experience with implementing or sustaining lean manufacturing practices is desirable. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Fluent in Mandarin required. Working Conditions Work is primarily in a manufacturing environment with moderate exposure to loud equipment and harsh chemicals. Physical Requirements Physical requirements include frequent walking in the plant, visual acuity to identify potential hazards and occasional lifting up to 25lbs.
