SUMMARY:
The Process Engineer is responsible for driving manufacturing process optimization. The successful incumbent will:
* Provide the manufacturing organization, and site teams, with tactical hands-on support to address specific opportunities with capacity liberation, process control and network optimization.
* Lead the development of manufacturing and technical operations teams in process best practices, process metrics and process control.
* Support onsite commissioning of new equipment through verification and startup of manufacturing line.
* Use data analytical tools and develop plant automation devices to drive performance for existing equipment and new installations that bring breakthrough performance.
* Leverage technical community to devise work plan and solutions to current opportunities.
* Support and drive cost reduction initiatives, supporting Sustainable Cost Advantage (SCA) pipeline planning through Focused Improvement Teams and other interventions.
* Monitor and drive factory performance with plants to improve consistency and product quality.
* Coordinate efforts between plants to share processing knowledge and improvements.
* Support new product launch activities, which includes attending test runs, gathering data and cooperatively working with development team ordinate efforts between plants to share processing knowledge and improvements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this position successfully, the individual must be able to perform each job duty to meet expectations as written by key business drivers. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field with two (2) years of experience in Manufacturing, Maintenance, R&D, Technical Operations / Process control or Packaging.
Technical Capabilities
* Strong technical aptitude, mechanical/electrical engineering, and/or plant automation, with the ability to improve process efficiencies.
* Knowledge of food processing equipment, processing methods, manufacturing philosophies, and basic manufacturing SOPs
* Monitor and support execution of projects to ensure sustainable product launches.
* Support plants to meet SCA targets driven through optimizing plant assets and practices leveraging real-time management, process control, and best operating practices.
* Target year on year raw material recovery and line rate improvements at all facilities
* Network / collaborate through the technical services organization to contribute to future best practices and equipment standards.
* Participate in focused improvement teams across regions to deliver immediate impact to cost reduction and support SCA across the network.
* Capable of collecting, organizing and statistically analyzing data.
* Ability to work independently and within teams on abstract projects with minimal supervision.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS OF INTEREST:
* AutoCAD or other engineering design tool knowledge
* Big data processing, integration, coding and programing history
* Financial analysis of manufacturing materials and usages
* JMP Statistical software knowledge
* Lean manufacturing or six sigma knowledge
* Experience in MDI, Lean, Six-Sigma, Center-lining

The Process Engineer will be based out of the Florenceville or Easton Site. This role will support the Potota manufacturing facilities within North America.
TRAVEL: 60% Travel East, 30% North America
