PROCESS ENGINEER
- Drive process stability on the Autonomous Manufacturing Unit
- Drive process and product quality improvements on the AMU
- Monitor existing process stability programs, historical trends and KPI data for early identification and resolution of process and quality issues
- Drive elimination of losses/waste on the AMU
- Strive for 0 accident
- Drive overall operational and performance reduction losses in OEE by ensuring capture and analysis of process and quality data to identify opportunities and create solutions
- Lead Root Cause Analysis on OEE losses (i.e. operational and performance losses)
- Prepare documentation for process specifications, procedures, and work instructions
- Develop operational standards, keep them always updated and audit their correct application in the shop floor
- Train and mentor production staff on new processes and best practices
- Exchange good practices with the Process Engineers of the other AMUs
- Implement Lean Manufacturing (OMEX) principles to drive continuous improvement
- Execute and optimize product/size changeovers
- Actively participate in the development of the Capex projects, providing process input to the Engineering/Projects team
Education and Experience
Technical Bachelor's Degree
2 –3 years in a manufacturing environment
Specific job skills
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and aptitude
Advanced computer skills
Knowledge of tools and techniques related to resolving process and quality losses
Understands how to drive performance improvement across working groups to achieve high performance
Knowledge of lean principles (i.e. waste identification, OEE and limit analysis, SMED)
