This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. This role will aid the process engineer in driving process improvements, maintaining SOPs and training, and supporting the day to day troubleshooting and work on the line. Typical improvement efforts will improve quality, drive down cost and/or increase output. What You'll Do: * Data mining and analysis in Minitab * Make conclusions recommendations based on data analysis * Perform yield analysis and suggest improvement strategies * Look for opportunities to reduce downtime * Participate in Gemba walks and look for lean and safety improvements * Perform membrane characterization testing * Perform statistical process control (SPC) monitoring * Complete safety assessments to improve daily tasks on the floor * Support larger projects with testing, data analysis, project managementWhat We Seek: * Data-driven and hands-on approach * Proficient in Excel. * Ability to complete tasks in timely manner * Working towards a degree in chemical, mechanical or similar engineeringOutstanding Candidates Will Have: * Knowledge of Minitab or willingness to learn * Curiosity, asking questions, and providing your input to the team * Ability to drive tasks independently and work in a team environmentDesired Major(s) & Graduation Year: * Chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similarWhat We OfferAt Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
