Job Summary:Serves as an internal consultant focused on process improvement. Facilitates Process Improvement initiatives as assigned, using project management tools and skills, process improvement tools, and team management skills. Projects may include systemwide initiatives that involve formal PI approaches such as Lean or Six Sigma, or smaller projects using more simplified approaches to intentional Process Improvement. Interacts effectively with stakeholders, works with stakeholders to develop agreed-upon project plans, and ensures that project status reports and presentations are maintained as required by the project. As a facilitator, the goal of the PI Consultant is to lead in optimizing workflows to positively impact performance related to quality, safety, service, operational effectiveness, and fiscal effectiveness. Education:Required: Bachelor's Degree required. Preference for industrial/systems engineering, health science/management, business, organizational change, or similar education with a strong component around process analysis and improvement.Preferred:Master's Degree in related field (see above)Lean and/or Six Sigma ExperienceExperience:Required:Experience should include leading process improvement projects, preferably in a complex organizational environment.
