Job Summary

Were looking for a Process Improvement Manager to join our Supply Chain Operations team. In this role, youll work in our 200,000 sq. ft. distribution center, focused on reducing waste, improving efficiency in our operations, and leading best practices within our supply chain operations. You will identify areas of improvement, set goals, and work cross-functionally with other teams to communicate strategies for streamlining operations. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the expectation that you will actively engage in process analysis, implement solutions, mentor other team members, and foster a Lean culture. You will be responsible for both direct individual contributions and leading cross-functional teams in identifying inefficiencies, enhancing processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in leading process improvements within manufacturing and/or distribution operations utilizing process improvement strategies, including Lean methodology, and has the demonstrated implementation and organizational change management skills necessary to achieve buy-in on proposed improvement projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Operations, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related field
  • 7+ years experience in Supply Chain Operations and/or manufacturing with a focus on process improvement and/or operational excellence
  • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated applications of Lean Manufacturing Philosophy
  • Demonstrated ability to implement lean process improvement in a shop floor environment
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision making, including the ability to collect, interpret, and present data
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience directing cross-functional process improvement teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, advanced decision-making ability and conflict resolution; ability to influence and engage employees at all levels
  • Knowledge of distribution center operations and warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
