Responsibilities OVERVIEW: The Process Improvement Manager is responsible for driving toward the future of automated planning within the Supply Chain through process optimization and standardization. This role will be responsible for facilitating and leading a comprehensive review and overhaul of critical processes, ensuring that systems and our Supply Chain team are utilized to their fullest potential. A primary focus will be placed on processes that operate outside and across the system architecture, with an emphasis on standardizing processes across the Grocery and Pet business units. Consistency, efficiency, and simplification of these processes are key objectives to better support future acquisitions. This position will bridge the day-to-day needs of the business with the longer-term vision, ensuring our processes are aligned, well-documented, and resilient enough to support future acquisitions. By taking ownership of these processes, the Process Improvement Manager will help us create a supply chain that's agile, streamlined, and able to handle the demands of our cross-functional teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, implement, and refine processes that support touchless planning objectives, with a focus on cross-business unit alignment. Map out, document, and communicate all relevant planning processes across Grocery and Pet business units, identifying opportunities for automation and improvement. Lead initiatives focused on process health, focusing on consistency, compliance, and adherence to best practices across functional areas. Develop and maintain comprehensive process guides and workflows, ensuring easy adoption and clear guidelines for all stakeholders. Define and maintain process standards and governance, ensuring all relevant teams (Grocery, Pet, and cross-functional) adhere to consistent methodologies. Partner with Solution Product Owners to bridge gaps between system capabilities and practical process applications, supporting the broader goals of RapidResponse and future advanced planning solution enhancements. Develop a structured approach to handoffs, scenario planning, and exception management to minimize inefficiencies and enhance response times. Align foundational processes with long-term business objectives, including scalability for future acquisitions. Build and lead a team to develop and deploy training materials, job aids, and documentation that improve and support process understanding and capability across the team. Establish governance for prioritizing data requests, dashboards, and reporting tools across functional teams, promoting a single source of truth between business units. Act as a change management leader, supporting the rollout of new processes and ensuring training, documentation, and user adoption across the organization. Qualifications EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred. EXPERIENCE: 8+ years of combined functional experience in a Supply Chain business, IT, or Continuous Improvement function. Proven track record in process improvement and standardization, ideally in a manufacturing or supply chain planning environment. Strong understanding of ERP and APS systems, particularly RapidResponse or equivalent systems. Experience with cross-functional collaboration, working across multiple departments and business units to establish cohesive workflows.
