Job Summary: This position is located at the Milliken - Magnolia Plant located in Blacksburg, SC and reports to the Process Improvement Manager. The position is responsible for leading continuous improvement efforts at the site. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. However, due to continuous operations of the plant, the work schedule may require arriving before 8:00 am, staying beyond 5:00 pm, and participation in the management team weekend rotation schedule.

* Develop a thorough understanding of the conditions that impact the processes and products
* Use sound project management skills to manage multiple improvement projects
* Analyze problems and implement solutions using critical thinking skills
* Incorporate creative thinking to problem solving to identify unique and different ways to make things better/more consistent/faster/cheaper/efficient
* Prepare diagrams, charts, tables to reflect findings and support recommendations
* Communicate effectively with a diverse group of associates
* Work effectively with a diverse group of associates to accomplish project and location goals
* Participate fully in the Safety Process
Qualifications Required:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Qualifications Preferred:
* Textile, Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering major
* Previous manufacturing experience (intern, co-op, or fulltime)
