Process Improvement SpecialistATEC is looking for a Process Improvement Specialist to provide second level engineering to the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) NMT CM/PI/PM Team. The applicant will coordinate, plan, and collect information on process management, process improvement, operations analysis, or quality control/quality assurance activities. They will support the development of processes, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), manage all project artifacts and ensures compliance with applicable policies and procedures, compile and track data for special studies, audits, and other investigations, and asist with the development of training or familiarization materials for the above activities.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Partially writes and supports the overall development and implementation of process re-engineering, quality, configuration management and business process modernization projects.Partially writes and supports the overall development of and/or provides quality reviews of task materials.Experience creating, editing, maintaining and providing feedback for process documentation.Experience in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data to enable successful completion of project artifacts.Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office software products, especially Microsoft Project to create, maintain and analyze project schedules.Ability to route project and branch level documentation for upper management approval.Lead team collaboration on the development and delivery of project artifacts to comply with required deadlines.Ability to identify, analyze, and adhere to applicable FAA and organizational processes and policies.OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:Problem solving skills.Strong interpersonal/team working skills.InitiativeAttention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent customer relations skillsAbility to work in a team environmentKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:Working Knowledge and Experience with Safe Agile Principles And PracticesAbility to work on multiple projects/tasks concurrently.Familiar with application development life cycle and/or agile software development processes.Ability to learn new applications quickly, mostly through hands on use and mentoring by other Project Leads.Ability to identify potential project trends and risks to management.Experience using Jira and/or other issue tracking software for project and Issue status reporting.EDUCATION/YEARS of EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Specific training and/or certification in one of the following, iCMM, ISO, CM, or PMP is requiredANDAssociates Degree with a minimum of eight (8) years process improvement experience.ORBachelor's Degree with a minimum of five (5) years process improvement experience.ORMaster's Degree with a minimum of three (3) years process improvement experience.SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the USApplicants selected will be subject to a government investigationHas been living in the US for at least the past 3 yearsWORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Located at the FAA William J.
