DESCRIPTIONRural Super Rural (RSR) is looking for a Process Improvement Specialist to identify, analyze and improve upon existing business processes in the Safety, Quality, and Cost programs. The specialist will participate in continuous improvement projects, conduct root cause analyses, documentkey decisions, and track progress towards organizational goals. The specialist must be able to collaborate with team members to develop new mechanisms and work cross-functionally with multiple business partners.They will support internal RSR customers (L7/L8 MSLs and Directors), as a key resource to improving the regional performance across Safety, Quality, and Cost metrics. They will act as the Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the field, maintain organization of all action item tracking, develop ideas to improve the sites' performances, as well as developing a mechanism to maintain the performance.Please note that the location can be flexible in any of RSR's locations. The candidate is expected to travel at minimum 50% of the year.Key job responsibilitiesThe successful candidate will possess the following competencies:* Understand the complexity of RSR business and operational processes and workflows (last mile delivery network knowledge)* Strong analytical skills to interpret large volumes of data and identify trends* Ability to dive deep into operational processes to identify root causes of performance gaps and determine appropriate steps to prevent re-occurrence* Incorporate improvements to established procedures/processes related to safety/quality/cost* Gather requirements and feedback from stakeholders to develop clear, and detailed specifications to drive delivery of organizational quality and customer sentiment goals* Ownership and end to end delivery on their part of projects* Self-starter comfortable working with autonomy, and can successfully prioritize and manage multiple assignments* Customer Focus- Ability to approach problems logically and with good judgment to ensure the appropriate customer outcome* Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time* Maintain a flexible schedule, to include occasional nights and weekend coverages* Be able to travel minimum 50% of the yearBASIC QUALIFICATIONS* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years)* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word* Experience using analytical skills to solve operational challenges* Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities* Experience using data and metrics to drive recommendations* Track record of taking ownership and driving resultsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS* Prior experience in a business or operations role* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Teamwork mentality and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done* Advanced Excel and Tableau skillsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $150,000/year in our highest geographic market.
