Role Overview: As a Process Improvement Supervisor, youll play a pivotal role in enhancing our distribution center's efficiency. Youll have the opportunity to assess and refine our operations, ensuring our processes are not only effective but also evolving to meet the highest standards of quality, speed, and affordability. Your mission will be to drive productivity and operational excellence through innovative solutions and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and Innovate: Dive deep into our processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations, enhance quality, and reduce costs.
  • Lead Change: Champion Lean practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the distribution center. Equip your team with the tools and knowledge needed to excel.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data analysis to drive meaningful results. Create and present reports and KPIs that highlight the impact of your initiatives.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with management and team members to share insights, strategies, and progress. Facilitate discussions and present your findings to drive organizational change.
  • Ongoing Learning: Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements in process optimization. Apply this knowledge to keep our operations cutting-edge and efficient.

What Were Looking For:

  • Education & Experience: A Bachelors degree in business or a related field is preferred. You should have 2-5 years of experience in continuous improvement and project management, with an understanding in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Green Belt preferred.
  • Skills & Expertise: Demonstrated success in process improvement, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence change at all levels of the organization. Proficiency in project management software is essential.
  • Leadership & Communication: Excellent facilitation, public speaking, and training skills. A track record of driving results and taking ownership of projects is crucial.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to handle regular stock, including lifting parts up to 60 lbs. and carrying them up to 25% of the time.

Work Environment:

  • Dynamic Setting: Work in a large, open environment with a moderate noise level. Youll be surrounded by active workers and equipment, so adherence to safety procedures is essential.

Safety Gear:

  • OSHA-approved steel-toed safety shoes are required from the first day on the job.
