Process Lead to lead our team of skilled technicians and drive project success! We are looking for someone with thermoforming thin gauge experience. Must be able to travel 50%+ of the time.
What You'll Do: - Lead the Charge: Assign technicians to projects and ensure timely, accurate completion.
- Be the Expert: Share your knowledge of production equipment and processes to guide your team.
- Hands-On Leadership: Oversee the set-up, testing, and troubleshooting of cutting-edge production equipment.
- Tackle Challenges: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, turning obstacles into opportunities.
- Collaborate for Success: Work closely with engineers and production personnel to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
What You'll Need: - Associate's degree with an emphasis in a mechanical or manufacturing process program and eight (8) years of manufacturing equipment and processes, mechanical or machine maintenance and installation experience, OR
- High school diploma or equivalent and ten (10) years of manufacturing equipment and processes, mechanical or machine maintenance and installation experience
- Demonstrated mastery in thin gauge thermoforming
- Experience mentoring and reviewing technicians work
- Prior experience troubleshooting and repairing production tooling and equipment and testing equipment
- Prior experience using various statistical and quality methodologies including but not limited to Statistical Process Control (SPC), Statistical Quality Control (SQC), 5S, 8D,
- Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis, Gage Repeatability and
- Reproducibility (R&R), and Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Proficiency in using powered and manual hand tools such as soldering iron, multimeter, wrench, hammer, screwdriver, etc.
- Understand decimals and fractions
- Ability to read and understand blueprints or drawings including, but not limited to manuals, catalogues, schematics, or prints
- Understand production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of products
- Excellent verbal and written skills necessary to communicate intricate job-related information
