This individual works alongside our Line Leads and Packaging Technicians to provide analytical knowledge of the production lines, supporting standards creation for loss elimination. They are responsible for eliminating parameter and changeover losses. The Process Lead is also responsible for building capability of Operating Teams and Equipment Owners to deliver overall line results that support the sites' Compelling Business Need.The Process Lead will also ensure their team is accountable for understanding and following all standard IWS (Integrated Work Systems) processes. Duties and Responsibilities
  • To identify, prioritize and eliminate losses associated with their line
  • To build the process capability & control. (Owns IPS, UPS, data analytics)
  • To provide feedback to design and lead smart standardization deployment
  • Coaches line operating teams on the technical understanding of the process
  • To define the equipment standards for their line and collaborate with other team members
  • To lead the change management & validation processes for their line
  • To lead and build the capability of process failures technical troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with Line Leaders and Equipment Owners to develop new standards
  • Owns the CL's, RCO and DM
  • Design, implement and maintain systems to collect and analyze data for critical product and process parameters
  • Use this data to identify losses
  • Prioritize and communicate improvement opportunities
  • Eliminate or reduce (prioritized) losses through making process or work system changes
  • Participate in the daily direction-setting process - report results, flag issues and request resources
  • Standardize equipment and work processes. Own the change management system for a designated process. Update process control strategies and operating procedures as changes occur
  • Share and reapply learning across processes, modules, and plants
  • Prepare and give training on process/equipment changes
  • Take part on planned stops and RCO's flowing to the line as needed
  • Standardize and improve RCO's
  • Spend 80% of their time on the floor
  • Become a technical expert for a designated process
  • Qualify on all basic operating roles
  • Coach and collaborate with the line teams and site and regional equipment or process owners

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, Engineering preferred, or equivalent manufacturing experience
  • Strong MS Suite skills including MS Excel
  • Ability to coach and encourage large teams
  • Knowledge and use of Statistical Tools
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task under continuously changing business priorities
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement, a plus
  • Strong Mathematical/Analytical skills
