**NO RECRUITERS PLEASE**PROCESS OPERATOR-FINISHINGJob Overview: Process Operator I - FinishingBolder Industries Maryville is seeking a highly motivated and capable Process Operator I (PO I) to join the Finishing team at our advanced manufacturing facility. The Finishing team performs the final functions of our facility where waste tire chips are processed to extract the raw materials such as carbon black, gas, light oil, and heavy oil. The Finishing Process Operator is responsible for ensuring the final product meets quality standards, the finishing system is running properly, by continuously monitoring product output and making necessary adjustments mechanically and through software.The successful candidate will undergo our 6-week Process Operator training program to learn the skills and safety measures necessary for the job. Trainees must complete all Process Operator I evaluations to be certified at the conclusion of the training period. The opportunity to advance to Process Operator II and Process Operator III is available upon the completion of Process Operator I certification with associated pay increases for advanced PO levels. Importantly, you will become one of the first in the world skilled in the chemical and mechanical processes that turn troublesome waste streams into valuable raw materials. This is an exciting sector that's projected to grow exponentially in the coming years, providing ample opportunity for personal and professional growth. Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor plant operations through control room software and communicate necessary actions to shift team members
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on finishing equipment
  • Track and log regular activities and operational systems data
  • Troubleshoot system issues and perform basic repairs and/or engage the maintenance crew to perform repairs
  • Perform regular product quality checks and lab tests, record data, and report deviations to shift supervisor or leadership
  • Consult with team members and make ongoing adjustments to systems, as needed, to ensure production and quality goals are met
  • Ensure all work is done in compliance with ISO 9001, EPA, Hazmat, and OSHA safety rules and regulations
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent degree
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Climbing ladders/steps
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret graphs, tables, gauges, and meters
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures to comply with health and safety standards
Location: Maryville, Missouri (in-facility only, remote not available)Schedule: Full-time, 12-hour shifts, day (7am-7pm) and night (7pm-7am) availablePay Range: $16-20/hourIncentives & Benefits:

Work Conditions: The manufacturing plant environment may be hot, noisy, and/or dirty with carbon black at times. Manufacturing operation is a chemical process. Product streams include a carbon black stream, a liquid hydrocarbon oil stream, and a hydrocarbon vapor stream. Process equipment will be installed indoors and outdoors and will be at different levels. Access to this equipment will be via stairways and/or ladders. Safety glasses with side shields, safety shoes, hearing protection, and at times a dust respirator will be required in manufacturing areas.
