Brightmark Bridgewater RNG Project produces an estimated 146 MBTUs of renewable natural gas per day from approximately 3,429 wet cow equivalents. RNG from Bridgewater will be trucked 27 miles to the Brightmark SunRyz Rover interconnect point. Relocation assistance will be provided for qualified candidates.Opportunity SummaryThe Process Operator at the Bridgewater RNG Project is responsible for performing activities associated with the safe and efficient operation and maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory permits. Responsibilities will include a range of skilled operational activities, including interfacing with the SCADA system, conducting analytical tests, and carrying out technical maintenance to support operations. Additionally, the Process Operator will split responsibilities between Bridgewater RNG and SunRyz RNG, a nearby site situated in Morenci, MI.Primary DutiesAssist with operations, maintenance and overall activities associated with the facilitiesAssist in the anaerobic digestion process by monitoring equipment, gauges and charts in the digester, electrical generation, and waste treatment processesRecord and analyze statistical data concerning plant operations ensuring that the plant is running as specifiedTroubleshoot failures and malfunctions to determine the root cause and maintain, operate, repair and replace equipment as necessaryMaintain, modify or repair instrumentation and control equipment including recorders, flowmeter and other water quality monitoring equipmentCollect samples for testing and reporting and performs lab analysis for process controlEnsure that plant operates within required standardsMonitor performance of electrical systems, circuits or equipment of the treatment plantTroubleshoot electrical systems, such as DC and AC low voltage and perform minor repairsMaintain spare parts inventory and conduct bi-annual inventory countsMaintain a clean and presentable plant environmentOther duties and project work as assignedNAES SafeSafety is a core value of NAES and as a condition of employment, all employees are expected to be mentally alert and work safely at all times. Protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, air masks, ear protection and others must be worn in the performance of some duties. Work with hazardous materials may be required.All personnel will participate in the Fitness for Duty Program. This program includes a post-offer physical examination and drug screening and post-employment random drug screening. There are extensive smoking restrictions in and around the facility.Work ScheduleThis position offers a regular scheduled Monday to Friday work week, with an 8-hour day shift. The position may require extended working hours and varied shifts with the possibility of weekend and holiday work, as required by schedules, workload and plant conditions. On call status will periodically be required.CompensationThe initial hourly rate of pay will range from $25.00 - $35.00 depending on experience.Job QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalency; technical college degree or vocational training desired.
