Job Description You should have experience with Process Piping, High Purity, in the semiconductor, biopharmaceutical or other high-tech manufacturing environments 5 years combined experience in the following cleanroom market sectors: semiconductor, Microelectronic, Biotech / Pharmaceutical CWIor NDT Level II Technician, required Possess a thorough understanding of acceptable industry standards for quality relative to all plastic, metal and/or hybrid piping materials likely to be used in microelectronics/high-tech industrial construction Be able to read P&IDs, isometric drawings, plan drawings, etc Understand welding processes, GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW General knowledge of ASME B31.3 compliant weld certification process for the following welding processes; SMAW, GTAW, GMAW General knowledge of ASME B31.3 compliant weld certification process for the following welding processes BPE (automatic orbital welding for high-purity gas systems) General knowledge of George Fischer on one or more of the following PVDF, PP, PE fusion processes; GF Model IR 63; GF Model IR225, FuSeal, Contain-It systems General knowledge of Duct Installations-Torque values, spark tests, installation procedures Ability to inspect welds on PVDF, PP, PE, CS, SS and SS Orbital Ability to inspect glue bonded joints on PVC and CPVC systems Computer literate with Excel and Word and comfortable with using the customer portals to find specs and drawings associated with the project Must be proficient using the following tools: Borescope, Profilometry, U.T Meter, Dial Calipers and basic hand tools Those with less experience, but within these industries and the needed skill sets, are encouraged to apply Responsibilities Support projects on any training issues Source inspections - materials Support RFI process Make recommendations on field issues Provide daily project progress assessments Establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished product Assist with quality investigations P&ID walkdown/verification Verify installation is in accordance to project specifications and governing codes Compile TOPs Material and weld inspection, must know how to use calipers, profilometers, weld gauges, etc Slope verification Verify welder certifications Witness pressure tests All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
