**Job Summary:**
The Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Process Safety Management - Plant Coordinator will provide coordination of Process Safety Management efforts at the Trane Tyler, TX manufacturing location. This includes but not limited to, maintaining the organization of all process safety related information, assist in training production, maintenance, and support personnel in process safety and ensuring that all the elements of the PSM program are kept up to date, accurate and available for operational needs and auditing. The position will have additional responsibilities supporting the facility EHS plant leader on additional initiatives as assigned.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Provide overall coordination of day-to-day activities related to implementation of PSM for the facility
+ Continuously maintain all PSM data and required records to ensure that information is accurate and current
+ Manage and maintain all file system records, both electronically and hard copies, for all applicable PSM Program elements, including PM records, MOC records, incident investigation records, employee participation records, training records, and all other records generated from any PSM program element
+ Maintain audit ready PSM program, data, and records at all times through periodic internal self-audits
+ Review operating procedures for PSM covered processes to ensure they are accurate up to date
+ Schedule and participate in all periodic PSM meetings. These meetings will include a review of all open action items, PSM training, MOC project updates, review of incident reports, and other pertinent information and training
+ Coordinate the Management of Change / Pre Start-up Safety Review (MOC/PSSR) process consistent with Trane Technologies and regulatory requirements
+ Participate in three-year compliance audits and five-year Process Hazard Analysis (PHA). Coordinate third-party and/or internal five-year mechanical integrity inspections. Maintain all open recommendations from audits, reviews, analysis, and inspections in the appropriate tracking systems.
+ Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses when required
+ Assist as needed in developing inspection, test, and preventative maintenance plans and equipment reliability for the facility
+ Maintain and complete all training documentation in a timely manner
+ Constantly evaluate and communicate Trane PSM training plan with employees and plant leadership
+ Assist Plant EHS Leader to ensure EHS Standard Work is implemented, and layered audits are conducted based on Trane Technologies business operating system (BOS)
+ Supports the launch of all activities needed to implement and maintain PSM compliance
+ Maintain current knowledge of Trane / government PSM related rules and regulations
**Key Competencies and Success Factors:**
+ Results oriented, manufacturing process background with extensive Process Safety Management experience
+ One or more safety-related professional certifications desired (i.e. CCPSC, CSP)
+ Solid experience in environmental, health and safety regulations (PSM Focus)
+ Demonstrated experience in the integration of EHS into the manufacturing process preferred
+ Proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of leadership and plant personnel
+ Computer and analytical skills, high motivation, and passion for EHS excellence with need for minimal direction
+ Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools including basic problem solving (BPS)
**Minimum Experience and Skills Required:**
+ Bachelor's degree in industrial safety, safety sciences, safety engineering, environmental science/engineering or other engineering degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution with at 3 or more years of PSM program coordination
+ Proven skills within implementation of PSM programs and procedures
+ Comprehensive knowledge of the OSHA PSM regulations
**Salary: $85,000 - $115,000**
