OVERVIEW
The Process Service Attendant is responsible for responsibilities associated with Building 3 operations.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Granular Carbon filter regeneration
+ Granular Carbon furnace operation
+ Granular Carbon Transport, Hose Changes and Filters Sweetening on/off.
+ Forklift Trained (relocation process chemicals and ingredients, trash as needed)
+ HAZMAT Trained (handling process chemicals)
+ Work safely with emphasis on quality and environmental parameters
+ Netzsch filter cleaning as needed.
+ Lime Dumping (20% tank)
+ Using the computer system to operate refinery equipment.
+ Take Samples to the lab.
+ Assist in Startup and Shutdown Jobs
+ Assist in spill cleanup and general area cleaning.
+ Perform tasks as directed by process supervision.
+ Work and training assignments are made at the discretion of management based upon the needs of the company and the individuals ability, knowledge, skills, and training needs.
+ Ability to:
+ lift up to 50lbs.
+ use hands and arms to reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and manipulate materials and tools.
+ walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, stoop, crawl, and climb constantly throughout the shift.
+ reach, bend, twist, rotate, push, and pull frequently.
+ work in confined spaces
+ work independently as well as a team player.
+ climb up and down ladders.
+ Work Night, weekends, and Holidays shifts
+ Basic computer skills
Preferred Experience
+ Prior experience working at a manufacturing site.
+ Operating a forklift
ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)
+ Must be able to perform tasks such as climbing, lifting, and standing for long periods of time.
+ Must be able to perform tasks while wearing all required PPE such as but not limited to protective clothing, safety glasses/goggles, steel-toed boots.
+ Must be available to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
Pay Rate $20.46 /hr
This is a unionized plant and wages are determined by our collective bargaining agreement. $20.46/hr is the hourly wage for this position.
