Job Requirements:

Provide Leadership, Accountability, and Expertise to Densifying Work Cell. Overseeing shift operation of 3 Operators and 1 Quality Technician. Hiring for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift.

Responsibilities:

  • This role will oversee a specific work cell in our plant, inclusive of 3 Operators and 1 Quality Technician

  • Understand manufacturing process of materials and machine

  • Analyze data and make adjustments to process when needed

  • Troubleshoot machine to ensure product consistency

  • Promote a teamwork approach among shift personnel and between functions. Maximize employee involvement in decision making.

  • Monitor and improve start-ups and develop a consistency from team to team. Work with complementing shifts to develop consistency.

  • Train production team members to perform job requirements in a safe and effective manner.

  • Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules

  • Must be able to work extended hours when required

  • All other duties as assigned

This is an Exempt position with a salary range of $65,000-$80,000

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Associates' degree in related field, engineering/business management preferred.

  • One (1) to three (3) years in a Manufacturing Environment Preferred.

  • Exposure with a union environment.

  • Paper making experience preferred.

  • Experience of practical application of Lean, TPM, and/or Six Sigma tools.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Data and metrics driven.

  • Strong team player.

  • Ability to interact with vendors and internal customers.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication s ki lls.

  • Computer literate with knowledge of Excel.
