Job Title: Process TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Process Technician responsible for overseeing injection mold processes. The ideal candidate will handle mold repair, troubleshooting, and ensuring mold change outs are completed correctly. You will manage complete mold setups, adjust cycle times, and oversee preventative maintenance schedules. Additionally, you will work with robots, operate overhead cranes, and handle hydraulics, pneumatics, and tooling machines. Documentation will be maintained using computer systems.
Responsibilities- Oversee injection mold processes
- Perform mold repair and troubleshooting
- Ensure proper completion of mold change outs and initial runs
- Set up molds and adjust cycle times as necessary
- Oversee preventative maintenance on molds and create PM schedules
- Supervise machine setups and tool changes
- Manage and program robots, including editing touchpoints
- Operate remote-controlled overhead cranes
- Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and tooling machines
- Document processes and maintenance using computer systems
- Disassemble, reassemble, and clean tooling as part of PMs
Essential Skills- Minimum 3 years of process technician experience
- Experience with injection mold machines
- Proficiency in completing mold and tool setups
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Experience with preventative maintenance (PMs) on molds and tools
- Possession of own hand tools and wrenches
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with robots, including touch-up points and minor program changes
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience operating overhead cranes and tow motors
- Familiarity with 5S or process improvement methodologies
