Corning's Environmental Technologies segment manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world.Duties and Responsibilities:Sets up, assembles, maintains, monitors and operates equipment in various operations such as pilot production, research, development labs and department labs and shops. Work with supervisors, scientists, engineers, other technicians and/or self-directed, perform a wide variety of tasks.May require working shifts, holidays and weekend assignments. Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesRequirements:Must be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 poundsWork Conditions:Work hours vary and you may be moved depending on the respective needs of the company.Economic cycles may dictate a need to reduce employees. Reductions occur based on a valley-wide single seniority system.Education Requirements:2 year (AAS) technical degree from an accredited institution is required.This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The starting pay for this position is $35.35 hourly rate. Compensation and benefits available for this position are dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
