Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing the production of quality goods, ensuring adherence to standard cycles, safety protocols, and quality control. - Start-up and cycle in new jobs.
- Respond promptly to machine alarms to reduce downtime and maintain machine efficiency.
- Ensure machine productivity and efficiency, including overseeing mold and machine maintenance.
- Collaborate with supervisors and production coordinators to ensure safety standards are met.
- Assist with material management, including scrap and regrind processing.
- Report any molds and machines needing maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform minor maintenance on machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Work overtime or adjust work schedule as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production processes to meet quality standards.
- Ensure machine efficiency and productivity.
- Work closely with supervisors and production coordinators to enforce safety protocols.
- Manage materials, including scrap and regrind processing.
- Report and resolve maintenance issues for molds and machines.
- Keep the plant clean, organized, and safe.
- Conduct minor maintenance on machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Adjust to schedule changes, including overtime when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5 years of experience in Plastics Injection or Blow Molding.
- Strong knowledge of production processes and machine maintenance.
- Proficient in English communication.
- Valid driver's license.
