The Process Technician (Plastics/Injection Molding) is a critical role in our organization, responsible for developing, validating, and improving manufacturing processes for our plastic injection molding products. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement safe and effective manufacturing processes for plastic injection molded products.
- Keep costs under control and boost profitability, make sure that all production tasks are completed in a way that satisfies quality standards and is both economical and efficient.
- Analyze and evaluate existing manufacturing processes for effectiveness and efficiency, and recommend changes.
- guarantee the best quality at the lowest cost, collaborate with the sales and production teams to create quotes for new and revised components.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of injection molding technologies, materials, and processes.
- Provide technical support to production personnel.
- Perform process validation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on plastics and/or injection molding.
- Strong understanding of process principles and process improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
