Matric Group of Seneca, PA is seeking to hire a Process Technician to help with preventative maintenance. This is a 2nd shift position that works Monday - Thursday, 3:30P.M. - 2:00A.M. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned. 1. Develop, maintain and adjust process recipes and machine profiles. Program machines as assigned, including file management and backups. Ensure internal and customer quality standards are met. Troubleshoot the production process when necessary. 2. Machine maintenance responsibility (limited) 3. Order SMT stencils. 4. Performing repair and advanced rework, e.g. high heat levels are required for heavy parts, repairing lifted pads, repairs to trackwork, drilling is involved. 5. Train production operators on equipment & process including related work instructions. Coach associates on manufacturing processes, including hand soldering. 6. Make appropriate process decisions related to components with special processing requirements, e.g. sealed vs unsealed components. 7. Provide oversight to the lot tracking process to ensure efficiency and integrity. 8. Process improvement, individual and team based. 9. Provide guidance and instruction to associates with manufacturability questions. 10. Demonstrate and explain equipment and processes to visitors (customers, auditors, etc.). 11. Ensure safe work practices are used. Report unsafe conditions or practices to supervisor. 12. Fill in for production operators during periods of absence, or during peak activity periods. 13. Support a work environment that promotes individual career growth, continual improvement and team work. 14. Potentially fill in for the supervisor, as assigned. 15. Perform other such activities as required by your supervisor, either verbally or in writing, to assist in achieving Matric business objectives.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or GED is required. Technical training or experience is preferred in electronics and equipment operations and personal computers. Prefer experience working in SMT with both thru-hole & SMT solder experience.
