  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Processing Manager to oversee our 24/7 processing operations. This critical role will involve leading a team of supervisors and processing operators in areas such as kitting, batching, receiving, filtration, and pasteurization. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and a collaborative work culture.
Job Duties:
  • Team Leadership: Train, develop, and manage a team of processing professionals.
  • Process Improvement: Drive operational excellence through standardization, loss elimination, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strategic Planning: Oversee strategic projects, initiatives, and programs within the processing department.
  • Performance Management: Establish and track key performance indicators to measure department success.
  • Production Coordination: Collaborate with planning and scheduling teams to ensure efficient production and product flow.
  • Project Management: Sponsor and manage capital projects and commercialization initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance: Review nonconforming products and ingredients with quality assurance team.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to GMPs, sanitation, safety regulations, and food safety standards.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Partner with maintenance to ensure equipment is well-maintained and operational.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the department's budget within financial targets.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5+ years of aseptic or ESL manufacturing experience in the dairy industry.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of process flow, fluid mass balance, regulatory requirements, and cleaning/CIP/COP programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, food science, or dairy science.
  • Knowledge of regulatory food requirements (e.g., PMO, PCQI, FSMA).
  • Experience working with FDA/USDA and other regulatory agencies.
