This position is in protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.Job Type: Full TimeShifts available: RotatingCompensation: $20.75/hrSign-On Bonus: $1,500Principal Accountabilities :Operate, maintain and adjust all processing equipmentPerform operator level maintenance and troubleshootingCompliance to safe work rules, good housekeeping & good manufacturing practicesCompliance to all relative FSQR and HACCP programs to include documentation, sample retention and accurate, timely data entrySafe and proficient operation of powered hand jacks and other PIT'sSupporting of other departments as requiredOther duties as assigned by managementRequired Qualifications:Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderAbility to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodationAbility to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance noticeMust be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.Basic computer skillsPreferred Qualifications :Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of two years relevant work experienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and WordForklift experienceWe highly encourage vaccinations but do not mandate at this time.
