Processor Operator/ Plant General Labor Operator

**Job Description****Job Summary**This position involves operating the processor via a computerized XY Com batching system and HTST unit and involves working in various positions in the plant based on need such as operating multiple fillers.Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:+ Blending per BOM's (Bill of Materials)+ Responsibilities for all positions except for maintenance personnel+ Take samples for Quality Control laboratory+ CIP and hand clean all related equipment+ Accurately complete all associated records+ Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)+ Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)+ Comply with all SQF and Company Guidelines to procedure and safe and quality product+ Perform other duties as assigned**Work Environment**+ Work environment is hot/cold/wet+ Work environment is indoors+ Work environment has consistent loud noise+ Work environment contains stairs and elevated surfaces**Skills Required**+ Ability to communicate openly, clearly, and effectively orally and in writing+ Ability to read, write, and understand English documentation+ Ability to support team environment+ Ability to work independentlyPhysical Skills Required:+ Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds frequently+ Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for virtually entire shift+ Ability to climb and maintain balance+ Ability to use hands extensively+ Ability to operate forklift with certification**Requirements**+ High school diploma or GED required+ Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal+ Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks+ Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds+ Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment+ Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment+ May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals+ Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidaysAn Equal Opportunity Employer
