Job Title: Proctor - TEMPORARY

Hiring Range: $10.00 per hour

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible to provide test security, ensures respect for student information and student confidentiality.
  • Comply with all testing procedures, practices and policies.
  • Responsible for tracking candidates admitted to testing, in accordance with secure check-in procedures, and monitor attendance continuously throughout the entire exam session.
  • Comply with all applicable legal requirements relating to the activities of contracted and ADA related matters.
  • Function effectively indoors in a classroom environment and engage in work of primarily a sedentary nature with the ability to sit or stand at workstation for extended periods.

    • Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    Knowledge:1. Customer and Personal Service - General knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.2. English Language - General knowledge of the structure and content of the English language.

    Skills:1. Active Listening - Proficient skills in giving full attention to what other people are saying.2. Critical Thinking - Basic skills in using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses.3. Reading Comprehension - Proficient understanding of written sentences and paragraphs.4. Speaking - Proficient skills in talking to others to convey information effectively.

    Abilities:1. Problem Sensitivity - The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.2. Inductive Reasoning - The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions.

    Physical Requirements:1. Near Vision - Must be able to see details at close range.2. Speech Recognition - Must be able to identify and understand the speech of another person.

    Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
