Position Purpose

To coordinate and execute the supply chain activities for Bassett Mechanical in a strategic, cost-effective and timely manner within a Lean culture.

Position Responsibilities

* Foster trusted relationships with internal and external customers.

* Serve as a valued resource, leveraging technical knowledge and industry networking.

* Communicate effectively with service personnel to clarify orders and address inquiries.

* Utilize and improve team resources for efficient sourcing.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic sourcing initiatives.

* Analyze procurement processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

* Maintain documentation and records for all procurement activities.

* Procurement of HVAC & Refrigeration Parts

* Identify, source, and purchase service parts and equipment based on internal requests.

* Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring proactive follow-up.

* Drive daily enhancements in supplier performance to optimize the supply chain.

* Participate in vendor meetings and nurture relationships with key contacts.

* Resolve Purchase Order and invoice issues through root cause analysis.

* Collaborate on developing and implementing strategic sourcing and procurement processes.

* Maintain a safe, Lean work environment focused on continuous improvement.

* Additional Duties

* Perform other tasks as assigned by department management.

* Related experience in construction, mechanical contracting, service, or parts sourcing/procurement - Candidates with Refrigeration and/or HVAC knowledge highly desirable.
