Role: Procurement Buyer

Duration: 12 months

Location: Peoria, IL

Typical task breakdown:

• Sourcing parts/tools/services
• Cost Savings
• Tracking non-conformances
• Machine/equipment rental
• Hazardous material purchases
• Assisting managers/approvers and other facilities with questions about invoicing/grief
• Maintain good relationship with suppliers and customers

Interaction with team:

• Frequent interaction with team and suppliers

Work environment:

• 20% factory floor, 80% office (estimation)

Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's of Master's degree in finance or a related business field required.
• 2+ years finance related experience required.
• Associate's degree with 4+ years related experience
• Buyer/procurement experience (highly preferred)

Skills:

• Exceptional computer skills
• Microsoft outlook, Excel, Word, MS Teams & Sharepoint
• Procurement experience required
• Negotiation, pricing
• Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors
• Track inventory and restock goods when needed

Compensation

This is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position $22 - $24 (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
