We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Management team, specifically focusing on Durable Medical Equipment (DME). As the Procurement Coordinator for Health System Services, you will play a vital role in supporting the procurement of essential medical equipment and supplies required for our healthcare operations. You will collaborate closely with senior purchasing agents, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff to ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of DME products. About the Position
- Assist in corporate purchasing by developing a thorough understanding of purchasing policies, procurement protocols, and procurement software to ensure seamless ordering processes.
- Manage inventory levels across multiple branches by monitoring stock, maintaining appropriate par levels, and analyzing inventory needs to determine if adjustments are necessary.
- Confirm receipt of purchase orders and packing slips, ensuring accurate documentation and data entry within our inventory management database.
- Maintain the inventory management database to uphold 100% inventory accuracy across all branches, proactively addressing any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to circumvent back orders by finding substitute items.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance based on quality, reliability, and responsiveness to ensure optimal vendor relationships.
- Support the implementation of procurement strategies and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and reducing costs within the HSS procurement function.
- Provide administrative support to the purchasing team, including data entry, filing, and generating reports as needed.

Qualifications for Success
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in supply chain management, procurement, or inventory management is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal stakeholders.
- Experience with inventory management software or demonstrated ability to learn software quickly.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A desire to continuously learn and grow within the role, along with a commitment to being a proactive team player.

- $18.00 - $24.00 per hour, dependent on experience
